NEWS:
Julie Zell was leading for the women, and Ian Price had turned in the fastest time for the first 9 men (not that it means anything).
With over 12 inches of new snow the night before, course workers were unable to keep the course clear. Blowing snow was also causing visibility problems.
"This just means we'll have double points and prize money at Big Bear next weekend," Winters said.
The contest may continue on Sunday with the Halfpipe competition, however, the Sierra Nevada could be in for even more snow tomorrow. Stay tuned.
