The Party Circle
(December 13, 1997)

The Circle, the new snowboard shop in town owned by Kevin Young and Marc Morrisset, held their grand opening party last night at the Mongolie Grill in the heart of Whistler Village. The well attended party was a who's who of snowboarders and industry folk, with free food compliments of the Circle.

Norway's favorite brother and sister, Stine and Arild Brun Kjeldaas, both automatically qualified for the finals.

Kevin Young enjoying the benefits of his life as a professional snowboarder and now as an entrepeneur.

Tina Basich, Barrett Christy, Trevor Andrew, Todd Richards were among the many who showed up to partake in the evenings festivities. A number of industry folk who are not usually found in Whistler were in town and at the party as well because the TransWorld Snowboarding Conference is going on all weekend.

Open for about a month now, the Circle is located under the Alpenglow hotel in the new section of Whistler.
