PR: On Board Entertainment Announces NASS "The North American Snowboard Series"

Crazed fans jam along with Candlebox. Kamp Kome was only the beginning. On Board Entertain-
ment has several big events plan-
ned for your snowboard season.

On Board Entertainment, a sports and music company based in Sausalito California, will be debuting their "North American Snowboard Series" in the spring of 1997. NASS, which is a series of pro invitational Big Air snowboard competitions, offers the largest cash purse currently available in America for Big Air ~ five events totaling $60,000.00.

OBE is objective in creating NASS was to build a series that is highly competitive, while still embracing the spirit of snowboarding. In a effort to assure that NASS is the premiere Big Air contest series, On Board has hired Stimilon International to build all of their jumps, and is working closely with America's top pros and team managers.

The NASS competitions will be held within OBE is winter sports and music festivals in March & April. The festivals will be held on Saturdays, and will appear at ski resorts just outside of New York, Seattle, Sacramento/San Francisco, Salt Lake City & Portland. (dates below)

On Board Entertainment, which was founded in 1995 by Dan Hirsch and Sarah Haynes, kicked off their first winter with successful snowboarding festivals including "SNOasis" in New York & "Board Stiff" in Seattle. On Board's latest project, "Kamp KOME" in San Francisco, boasted 17 bands and a pro snowboard demo on the largest man-made ramp ever built in America.
