Taking the motocross/BoarderCross concept and applying it to a team competition, the Supercross Snowboard Challenge at Copper Mountain, Colorado pitted industry team's against each other for $15,000 cash prize, winner takes all.

Adam Merriman helped the Boardriders Club team beat out team Sims, winning almost all of his heats. The final race came down to team Sims needing a first and second place finish to move ahead of leaders, team Boardriders Club. Sims Team Manager Jay Stevens was stressing watching from the bottom of the coarse as Mark Fawcett came in first, but Travis Young's close fourth place wasn't enough to jump ahead of the Boardriders Club. Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop's close third place finish made it an amazingly exciting final and overall, a great event.
