Boarderfest Kicks off at Sugarloaf

Sugarloaf/USA will host our 5th annual Bud Light Boarderfest, January 6 & 7, 2001, the first of seven stops in the Bud Light Boarderfest series. This is a huge event in which $10,000 in cash and more in prizes and products will be awarded to the men and women who can stand up and perform in the spotlight in 3 events.

It all kicks off on Jan 6 with the halfpipe competition in Sugarloaf�s monster Superpipe. As the evening settles in the famous Nighttime Boeri Big Air Invitational will start at the Freestyle Jump, which will conclude with a huge fireworks display.

Following the Big Air event, the band, Reveille, will be starting off the evening entertainment in the King Pine Room. This concert is open to all ages and tickets are only $15. Pick up your tickets at Guest Services or charge by phone at 207-237-2000.

On Sunday, Sugarloaf�s award-winning terrain park will be set for Palmer Boarder-X competition, which will feature the head-to-head action of five riders at a time racing against each other to see who can make it down the hill the fastest.
