Roxy Snow Classic Set For Big Bear Mountain

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, January 14, 2000 (NYSE:ZQK) Quiksilver is proud to announce its first Roxy Snow Classic on Sunday, February 18, 2001, at Big Bear Mountain Resort. This snowboard event, which is a scaled-down version of the professional courses, gives females of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to participate in a fun, non-competitive environment. The eight-gate course will be built in the Quiksilver Terrain Park where participants and their families can watch from the base area. �Much like our Roxy Surf Jams, events like these give girls a chance to experience the spirit of Roxy and the camaraderie of other female athletes,� said Randy Hild, Roxy Senior Vice-President of Marketing.

The Roxy Snow Classic starts at 8 a.m. Registration packets are available online at www.bearmtn.com. The entry fee is $35 for all ages and includes an all-day lift ticket, lunch and a goodie bag. Season pass holders are $6 which includes lunch and a goodie bag. Space is limited. The registration deadline is February 16, 2001.
