Kokanee BX Vancouver, BC Feb. 22-24

By Press Release

February 9, 2001

Vancouver, BC Preparations are well under way for the Kokanee Boardercross North American Championships at Vancouvers Mount Seymour February 22-24. The three-day event will showcase the ultimate in Boardercross racing with top Canadian & International pros and ams competing for a $25,000 cash prize purse.

Our goal is to have an exciting, safe and fun course, says Event Chairman and Peak Productions President Erik Kalacis. Weve moved it back to Northlands, the original site of the Kokanee Boardercross, and lengthened it by 250 meters with the finish at the base of the Mystery Chair. Seymour has had a good snowfall lately, with more expected, which is great for course-building.
