After a 2-hour conference call last week, the Style Council* for the upcoming World Snowboarding Championship, has decided to add a 4th discipline to this year�s event. The inaugural JIB JAM contest will take place following the Slopestyle Competition on Thursday, April 19th.

A total of 16 men & women will be invited to jib during the 1-hour open jam session. At the end of the hour, riders will vote for the top 3 riders who they feel performed the best during the session. $15,000 USD in cash and/or prizes will be awarded to the winning riders.

The deadline for invitation requests is Monday, March 5.

The Invitational List will be announced, Tuesday, March 20 on the event web site.
