Apprently an Olympic Gold Medal really does make a difference. After telling reporters that she was going to hang her medal up on the wall next to her "signed Britney Spears poster" Kelly Clark got an invitation to attend a special advance screening of Spears' debut film "Crossroads."

Joining Kelly at the Time Square Planet Hollywood shindig was Britney's boyfriend Justin Timberlake of *NSYC.

Planet Hollywood Chairman and CEO, Robert Earl, presented Britney with a check for $40,000 to benefit the Britney Spears Foundation.

The event followed the recent unveiling of three T-shirts designed by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake that are currently sold at Planet Hollywood locations nationwide to benefit both the Britney Spears Foundation and the Justin Timberlake Foundation.

The Britney Spears Foundation has a singular goal - to help children. Whether it is the creation of a sanctuary for children who are ill and on extended hospital stays or The Britney Spears Camp for the Performing Arts, The Britney Spears Foundation is dedicated to helping children in need through building peer relationships and participating in the performing arts.
