El Random Linko By Lee Crane November 29, 1999
This one is whacked. A couple days ago a big box showed up at the TWS offices. Inside we found a TV with a built in VCR and the words www.baronsteinfels.org on the screen in rub-on lettering. That's all. We hit play on the VCR and saw a really short video of a man with a thick Russian accent sitting in an oversized arm chair. We couldn't see his face, but he was ranting on about how you have to "eat or be eaten" and that it is better to be "the frog than the fly." He also carried about about some conspiracy that suggested that someone is controlling all of our lives. We visited this website and found out that a lot of other random people got TVs and the video. The domain is owned by MediaTeam Knobelspiess GmbH, so it's obviously PR for something. It's just that we don't know what it's for. If you know anything about Baronsteinfels.org please e-mail [email protected] and tell us about it.
If you know of a site that would be perfect for El Random Linko please send it to [email protected]
(11/12/99)Doodie.com: Not to get on a scatalogical rant or anything, but sometimes poo is just funny--especially here. (10/15/99)Stickdeath.com: You won't find stories of these crimes in the media. That's because Stickmen get no respect--especially not on this site. (9/29/99)Dogdoo.com: Someone just tell you they don't give a shit? Well, now you can give them a load. Send a package of dog doo right to their mailbox. (4/10/99)The Countdown to Star Wars Website: It seems like old news now. Phantom Menace was a phantom at the box office. So long Star Wars. (2/15/99)The Confessions of a Wash Me Finger Scribbler: He's the king of street art. You've seen his work everywhere. (12/15/98)Magic 8-Ball: An Unofficial Home Page: What is really inside those insidious black balls? Now you'll know. (10/30/98) Kevin Kelm's Virtual Vomit Page: Ladies and Gentlemen, start your blowers. (10/22/98) US Lawn Mower Racing Association: Ladies and Gentlemen, start your mowers. (10/17/98) Project Denny's: Eating bad food and writing about it.
