PR: Ride More Talk Less Tour

PR: Ride's Third Quarter Sales up 11 Percent Over Last Year (10-28-96)
PR: Morrow Reports Record Sales and Earnings (10-25-96)

PRESTON, Wash., Oct. 31-- The best of Ride's Team riders, free demos, the latest in snowboards and bindings, and music, traveling in 5 vans crossing the United States and parts of Canada -- this is "Ride More-Talk Less," Ride's largest on-snow demo ever set to take place for the '96-'97 season. Beginning in November and lasting through April, Ride will dispatch 5 specially-detailed demo vans carrying this year's complete line of boards and bindings and a preview of the best of next year's products to 160 winter resorts.

"'Ride More-Talk Less' is one of the largest on-snow demo tours ever to take place," said Jim Hale, demo coordinator at Ride. "It's simple. We want to make it easy for everyone, from the consumer, to the core rider to the first timer to try our line. All anyone has to do is show up to try our equipment. We'll be there to offer product information, answer questions and provide tech support. Our demo tour will come to most major winter resorts in the United States this season."

"Ride More-Talk Less" will cover five geographic regions, including the Northeast, the Rocky Mountains, California, Nevada, the Midwest, and the Northwest, in addition to locations at major resorts in Canada. Each region will be served by a demo van that will carry a full line of Ride boards, bindings, a Grindrite edger and work benches. Drivers will be trained product technicians ready to offer product service and information.

Ride will set up accessible demo areas for on-snow equipment tryouts at each resort. Products offered for demonstration will include: The technically superior Ride Thermal Cap(TM) Construction offered through our full line of Ride & Liquid snowboards. All boards will be mounted up with state of the art Preston aluminum bindings.

"We will be working closely with local retailers during the tour to ensure that they know when the demo van is going to be in their area," continued Hale. "Beginning in February, retail shop employees will have an opportunity to preview next year's equipment, and we look forward to receiving their feedback."

Dealers and consumers can call 800-683-8509 to find out when the "Ride More-Talk Less" demo van will be in their area.
