Bindings

When learning how to snowboard, your binding selection can effect your snowboarding experience. Listen to the tip.

Soft Binding
When starting out, most snowboards will have soft binding on a freestyle board.

Soft bindings are "strapped into" and you are attached to the board by a safe leash.

Device Binding
Set up your bindings up on your board with a wide stance, with the front foot at 0 to 5 degrees and the back foot at 0 to 3 degrees.

Adding more width in your stance gives you more balance.

Step -N- Go!
Device bindings are the new way of the market.

Device bindings are step in freestyle binding with no straps.

Just step in and go!

Template Binding
Template bindings have directional gauges on them that can tell you your degrees of directional stance.

Template bindings are usually mounted closer together.

All boards are required to have a safety leash to be allowed on the mountain.
