A cool trick you can practice at the intermediate stage is the sliding 360. Listen to the tip.
In this trick, the board stays on the ground.
Take a turn, it is easier to start with a toe side turn. Overturn the toe side turn so that the board is going up the hill. Let it go flat, and roll out on your heel edge.
You probably did this when you were beginning to learn, because it is easy to over turn the board. Now we are trying to do it on purpose!
After you have done this a few times, you can do a heel turn, over turn so that the board is pointing uphill. Let it go out on your new edge, in this case would be the toe edge.

So, there are two ways to spin 360's: go in toe side, come out heel - or go in heel side, come out toe.
Either way, look where you want to go, and keep looking around. If you look down, you're going to go down.
