SOL | Live At Fresh Tracks Long Beach '96

Fresh Tracks Schedule (10-19-96)
SOL Snaps From the Fresh Tracks Expo (10-19-96)

The Vert Ramp was directly
behind the KROQ stage where
Agent Orange played a great
set of surf music

Throw a kickin' vert ramp in with music, all the latest snowboard and skate gear with 7000 of Southern California's action youth and you've got the 1996 Fresh Tracks Boardriders Expo in the Pyramid on the campus of Cal State Long Beach.

Over a million dollars of snowboard stuff will be given away over the next two days. Free lift-tickets, snowboard, skateboards, and all kinds of stuff. It only costs $10 to get in and everyone who pays the entrance fee gets a free ticket to June Mountain Ski Resort. Not a bad deal when you think about it.

The weekend is pack with other stuff as well: Today (Oct. 19) the vert ramp will host a pro skateboarder demo (we'll have the pictures and names of the skaters up soon) and on Sunday the nation's top snowboarder who skate will compete for a spot in the combined skate/snowboard competition at ESPN's Winter X-Games at Snow Summit, California in January.

Tonight we're having a blow out SOL | Launch party at Club Cohiba in Long Beach. If you need directions e-mail SOLkitchen and we'll kick them down.

Other than that, stay tuned for more updates from Fresh Tracks as the day wears on. Because we're here live. Duh!

Check out the rest of the fun from Long Beach.
