Famous for their adult snowboard camps, Kevin and Brian Delaney have moved their programs from Vail/Beaver Creek to Copper Mountain, Colorado.

"The timing is right to relocate the camps to Copper," says Brian. "Copper's access to Colorado's front range, vast expansion plans, and its solid commitment to snowboarding makes it the ideal location for our camps."

The management at the resort is also glad to be the host of the camps that have become world famous for teaching adults to snowboard.

"Copper Mountain Resort is very excited to be welcoming the Delaney brothers to our snowboarding program this year," says Hilary Fadner, public relations director. "They have a proven track record in providing quality camps for beginners through experts. Their input and presence will have a have a very positive influence on the mountain as a whole."

One- to three-day programs are currently scheduled throughout the winter, with camps aimed at Japanese riders slated for early and late season. A three-day classic camp costs 795 dollars with tickets, is open for all abilities, and includes coaching, rentals, video analysis, breakfast and lunch each day, T-shirt, and a product raffle. These camps will be held once a month from December through March.

The Delaneys are also planning special powder camps, a powder-quest camp at Irwin Lodge, and several adventure camps-including trips to New Zealand and heli-boarding at Mike Wiegele's.

"Delaney Snowboarding was looking to partner with a resort that's focusing on the future," says Kevin. "Copper Mountain is the hub of snowboarding in Colorado and it's an honor to be associated with one of the premiere Intrawest resorts."
