Snowboard Life Top 25: Sims Descender

November 6, 2000

"The Sims Descender was designed to accommodate the vast majority of intermediate freeriders who are looking for a board with more versatility than the Daytona," says Snowboard Product Manager John Moore. Pro riders Jesse Burtner and Lael Gregory helped with the testing and development of this model.

The testers found nothing intermediate about the Descender. Kurt exclaimed: "My top-scoring board so far. Stiffer and more stable than other easy-turners."

Jonathan gave the Descender high marks for edge hold and versatility, and gushed, "If I could only ride one stick, 59B might be the one for me."
