Hits: Sunz Of Man

By Jason Dow

February 1, 1999

The Last Shall Be First

Red Ant Entertainment/Threat Records

Being a Wu-Tang fan, I had been waiting for this release for a quite sometime. When I first heard Sunz of Man's The Last Shall Be First, I was sort of let down; maybe I'd just set my hopes too high. Only after giving this album another chance did I find that I was really into it; since then it hasn't left my CD player. There's only a few tracks that I might fast-forward through, the rest of the album is very solid and has good deep bass from start to finish. If you like Wu-Tang, you either already own The Last Shall Be First or you're on your way to the record store to buy it. Anything with Ol' Dirty Bastard and Method Man on it is a must have, that's my take.
