MLY recently announced it has signed Blaise Rosethal, Chad Otterstrom, and Brad Scheuffele as team riders for its new series of snowboards, Millennium Three. The company has also re-signed Canadian Risto Scott to its international pro team.

Peter Martini, executive vice president/general manager of Raichle Molitor USA, Inc., recently announced that Thierry Peuchot has been appointed as U.S. product and sales manager for Raichle snowboard bootsa newly created position. Peuchot was formerly general manager of Nidecker Snowboards.
Todd Proffit, team manager for Quiksilver WinterSports announced that Joey McGuire has signed an exclusive contract to ride for the company. McGuire has a pro model with Lib Tech and can be seen riding in Decade, Mack Dawgs new snowboard flick.
In addition, Jessica Dalpiaz will ride for Quiksilver on the Roxy team.
Marcel Schiro, director of marketing for Sunbelt USA, has been given expanded duties to include product development, trade-show operations, and Western regional-sales management. Schiro is a twenty-year industry vet and has been with Sunbelt since January 98.
Kelly Sjölander is the new manager for special events and strategic alliances for Telluride Ski and Golf Company. Sjölander is responsible for securing local, regional, and national partnerships for special events, securing new events, forging new alliances, and for selling to large, industry-event type groups.
The USSA announced that Sondra Van Ert, Jeff Greenwood, Mike Jacoby, Rob Kingwell, and Ross Powers headline the list of athletes named to the 1999 U.S. Snowboard Team.
Kissing Bridge Ski Area in New York announces the appointment of Michael L. Hume as assistant marketing director for both Kissing Bridge and Colden Tubing Company. Also, Debbie Goslin has been appointed to the position of ski school director.
Marmot appointed John Cooley, vice president: minister of culture. Cooley, formerly the vice president of marketing, will be responsible for global brand development, strategic planning, and continuing role in product development. Tom Fritz takes over the position of vice president of marketing.

Technine Snowboard Binding Company has restructured its corporate personel. Ethan Fortier has transferred from team manager to head of marketing and design. Dean Blotto Gray will be taking over the team, handling all team management duties including staff photographer. Mark Girardi will be spearheading a grassroots program involoving shop riders, inquiries welcome.
Marty Carrigan has joined Palmer Snowboards and will be helping the company as a regional-sales manager and rep, sharing the duties with current Palmer Sales Manager Bob Klien. Carrigan will be handling the Rocky Mountain and East Coast regions, while Klien will take the West Coast and Midwest.
Fresh Jive has announced the appointment of Michael Buchalter
to the position of general manager. He will focus on restructuring the daily operations of
the company including manufacturing, merchandising, domestic and international sales,
financial planning/results, and inventory control.
