(Press Release, August 26, 1998)-Peter Martini, executive vice president/ general manager of Raichle Molitor USA, Inc., recently announced that Thierry Peuchot has been appointed as U.S. product and sales manager for Raichle snowboard boots-a newly created position. Peuchot was formerly general manager of Nidecker Snowboards.

As product/sales manager, Peuchot will be responsible for product coordination with the Swiss manufacturer as well as marketing and advertising of Raichle's snowboard boot program.

"This appointment is part of our restructuring of Raichle Molitor USA," said Martini. "Thierry's first objective will be to hire a snowboard-specific sales force, which is key to growing that segment of our business. He will play an important role in the development of Raichle snowboard boots to meet the needs of our retailers and consumers."

Raichle Molitor USA, Inc.-based in Brewster, New York-is the distributor of Raichle hiking, skiing, and snowboarding boots.
