DJ Quik to perform At Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's "The Joint" after awards ceremony.

OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA-- The worlds top snowboarders will gather at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casinos "The Joint" in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Second Annual TransWorlds Riders Poll Awards.

Crown Plastics and SIA together withTransWorld SNOWboarding, Snowboard Life, SNOWboarding Business, and www.snowboarding-online.com are proud to present the Second Annual Riders Poll Awards. The Riders Poll is the Academy Awards of snowboarding with the stars, style, and showgirls held during the Snow Sports Industry of America show (SIA), the most exciting week in the snow industry. Priority/Arista recording artist DJ Quik will perform along with special guests at awards after party.

TransWorlds staff sent out over 350 ballots to sponsored and professional riders from around the globe. Riders vote for peers in nine categories to select their favorite and most prominent riders. TransWorld SNOWboarding magazine and Snowboard Life readers were polled to select their favorite riders in the category of readers choice. SIA presents an award to recognize the rider who has most influenced retail sales. Look for nominees on www.snowboarding-online.

Last years event was a huge success and drew a crowd of over 2,000. This year ESPN will be covering the event airing on ESPN, espn2, & EXPN.com.
