Today, BBC announced that chart-topping Linkin Park, 2001 Ozz Festival headliner Static-X, the metal meets electronica sounds of Grand Theft Audio, the beats of the Kotton Mouth Kings, Stereomud�s heavy rock flavor, DJ Z-Trip, one of the top thirteen DJ�s in the world according to Spin Magazine, along with many other musical guests (TBA) will comprise the music line-up at Boarding For Breast Cancer�s 6th Annual Snowboard + Music Festival, to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Sierra-At-Tahoe, CA.

BBC is a non-profit, youth-focused, awareness and fundraising foundation. BBC�s mission is to spread breast cancer awareness among today�s youth, and to raise funds for research and educational programs. The foundation�s annual snowboard + music festival combines snowboard exhibitions by the world�s top professional snowboarders like Shannon Dunn, Tina Basich, Trevor Andrew, Ross Powers, and Michele Taggart, breast cancer awareness and educational exhibits, and music performances by top bands for a one day blow out. The festival also includes a major product raffle and benefit sale with over $50,000 of snowboards and accessories, a chance to ride with the pros, and free snowboard product demos.

Burton Snowboards has returned for the fifth year as an Associate Sponsor, and is joined by three-year sponsor RLX Sport, with SoBe Beverages, and Cartoon Network�s The Powerpuff Girls, on-board as Associate Sponsors for the second year.

Fitness Magazine, Convert by Columbia, Salomon/Bonfire, Sims/Jester, and X Games are all Supporting Sponsors for the second year, with Wet Seal making its BBC Supporting Sponsor debut.

Playboy.com will also be present at this year�s event as a Display Sponsor, with plans to promote their Bosom Buddies, Inc. partnership that is focused on producing and promoting the video: Partners in Hope: A Man�s Guide to Women�s Breast Cancer. Also teaming-up with Playboy.com will be Cyber Credit.

Tickets purchased the day of the event cost $45 for lift/ concert, and $30 for concert only. (All tickets are subject to convenience / gate fees)

Since its inception in 1996, BBC has raised over $500,000 for the cause through its events and programs. Each year, BBC awards grants and funds to awareness and research projects, while continuing to develop BBC�s own youth-oriented outreach programs.
