MASEV ACTION-SPORTS EXPO POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING 2002

Vancouver, BC (October 11, 2001) � The MASEV Action-Sports Expo, originally scheduled for October 27 - 28 at BC Place, has been postponed until Spring 2002.

The event was to feature an international line-up of action sports superstars and music talent. However, due to the escalating tensions in the global political climate, certain key logistical components of the event were compromised.

�The postponement is unfortunate, but the overwhelming response to the event that we�ve received from the action sports industry, media, and the public was the catalyst for us to pursue a new date in Spring 2002�, says Mark Taylor, MASEV Communications� Director of Event Properties.

MASEV Communications Inc. and the partners of the MASEV Action-Sports Expo regret any inconveniences this may cause, and apologize to the action sports industry and Vancouver fans for this temporary postponement. Few have been immune from the events that are gripping the world and MASEV Inc. believes Vancouver will understand this difficult decision during these uncertain times.

Full refunds for tickets purchased for the MASEV Action-Sports Expo are available at point of purchase Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets purchased by telephone and internet may be refunded only at the Ticketmaster head office, located at 1304 Hornby St., Vancouver B.C., V6Z 1W6.

Tickets must be presented to obtain a refund, and all refunds are available from October 11 � November 9, 2001.
