HECKLER July '97 July is Sticks and Stones month at Heckler. Though I couldn't find any mention of either Sticks or Stones that's what the issue was called. Maybe John and Sonny just decided to call it that. Regardless, the July issue features an interview with Steves: Olsen and Alba by N-Man extraordinaire Randy Katen. The Steves are two of the rulingest skaters of a by-gone era. The rest of the magazine is filled with insights and thoughts from Wendy Wyville, Jamie Thomas, Darren Navarette, Erica Bose, Beau Daly, Chris Farrell, and Paul Zuanich. Come to think of it Heckler is kind of like the People magazine of the board crowd. The back is filled with music reviews of bands the majority of the world will never care about, but hey, that's what makes Heckler so core. |
