Chairlift - Chris Zuchlag
Listen to the tip.
The chairlift is just like loading with skis on. Be aware of all loading and unloading signs. You wait in line where the sign says "Wait Here".

As a chair passes by, follow behind it. Look over your outside shoulder as the chair comes along. |
| Take the chair and sit down while gliding the board straight up the ramp.

It's a good habit to get into when you are sitting down is to take your free foot and point it up hill. Pointing your free foot up hill prevents it from getting stuck between the snow and the chair. |
Once you are seated and hanging in the air, allow your board to just hang off to the side.
When you get to the top and ready to get off, sit sideways in your chairlift. Put your board forward and hang the cheek. As you get near the ramp, put your board on the snow while you remain sitting down. Put your free foot on your stump pad while you are still sitting down.
When the sign says "Unload Here", stand up, keep your weight forward and go straight down the ramp.
Be sure to move out of the way while others unload.
