PR: On Board Entertainment Announces the Return of the Third Annual Bud Light Big Air Series!

On Board Entertainment is excited to announce the return of the Third
Annual Bud Light Big Air Series, a pro-invitational snowboard
competition, sponsored in part by K2. The only series of it's kind, The
Bud Light Big Air Series was created by snowboarders for snowboarders and
attracts the best riders in the world, including Kevin Jones, David Lee,
Athena, Mike Basich, Jamie Lynn and Natasha Zurek. Riders will compete
for the largest cash purse for Big Air in North America-- a hefty
$65,000!
The Bud Light Big Air Series appears at On Board Entertainment's
on-mountain festivals, where the fine folks at On Board also coordinate
live concerts from 3-5 top "alternative" bands, a consumer trade show,
pro skate, BMX and in-line demos. On-snow elements such as inner tube
races, K2 snow-shoe demos, beginner snowboard lessons and band and
athlete meet & greets round o forthcoming, you can trust it'll be worthy.
Artists who've performed in previous years include Garbage, Oasis,
Social Distortion, Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Religion, Reel Big Fish,
Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Third Eye Blind.
Built into the mountain will be a monster vert 1/2 pipe for professional
skate & BMX demos by top athletes such as Tony Hawk, Cara-Beth Burnside,
Rick Thorne, Ron Wilkerson, Dennis McCoy and the K2 in-line team. The
trade show will feature free consumer equipment demos, product sampling
and giveaways by over 40 of the industry's leading companies.
Each festival will be sponsored in part by the local alternative station
in each market. Admission tickets, costing less than a regular lift
ticket, are all-inclusive of the festival's activities and include a lift
pass for the day.
