On Board Entertainment and Bud Light are happy to announce the line up of music performers for the Third Annual Board Stiff: RANCID, BLINK 182, THE SPECIALS, OUR LADY PEACE, and HARVEY DANGER. Board Stiff will take place on Saturday, March 28th at The Summit at Snoqualimie Pass.
Board Stiff is an all day sports and music festival featuring five bands performing on a mountain stage, a consumer trade show with free equipment demos, product sampling and giveaways by many of the industry’s leading companies. Built into the mountain will be a monster vert 1/2 pipe for professional skate, in-line & BMX demos by world-class athletes. On-snow elements also include inner tube races, beginner snowboard lessons and free K2 pro-snowboard clinics at the half pipe.
Also appearing at Board Stiff is the Third Annual Bud Light Big Air Series, a pro-invitational snowboard competition, presented by K2 Snowboards. The only series of it’s kind, Bud Light Big Air was created by snowboarders for snowboarders and attracts the best riders in Big Air. Riders confirmed for the Seattle date include Mike Basich, Jimmy Halopoff, Andy Hetzel, Megan Pischke, Athena, and last year’s national Big Air champions Kevin Jones and Tina Dixon. Riders in the series will compete for the largest cash purse for Big Air in North America-- a hefty $65,000!
Tickets for Board Stiff will go on sale February 27th with no service charge at all Zumiez locations and the Summit. Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster outlets, on the web at www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 206.628.0888. For the price of a regular lift ticket ($32.00), you get admission to all of the festival’s activities and a lift pass for the day.
