Carlisle Names Gacetta Marketing Director

By Press Release

September 27, 2000

Portland, Maine, September 26, 2000-- Carlisle Sports Management announced today that Daniel Gacetta, Jr. has been named Out of Industry Sales and Marketing Director, and will be working from Carlisle Sports Management's new offices in New York.

Gacetta has been a Management Supervisor for Young and Rubicam, Inc. (NYSE: YNR)/ Impiric for the past year, managing communications strategy and creative development for the AT&T; account.

Before he joined Impiric, Mr. Gacetta worked at other Young & Rubicam Inc. companies including Young & Rubicam Advertising and The Lord Group for three years, where he acted as Account Supervisor for the KeyCorp account. Prior to that, he spent three years at Wunderman Cato Johnson in New York. Mr. Gacetta began his advertising career planning media and sports sponsorships with Grey Advertising.

"Given the growth of alternative sports, and their effectiveness in helping out-of-industry companies reach the elusive younger demographics, we feel this is the time to dedicate a full-time sales executive in the mainstream market," said Carlisle Sports Management CEO, Peter Carlisle. "We are extremely fortunate to find someone with Dan's advertising experience, along with his passion for and background in sports marketing."

Carlisle Sports Management (www.carlislesports.com) is an athlete management firm specializing in the representation of alternative sports athletes.
