Scott Mellin Named CEO of KDR, Inc.

January 17, 2001

Denver Colorado: Effective immediately Scott Mellin has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of KDR, Inc., the US subsidiary of Kneissl and friends. KDR distributes the Kneissl, DeeLuxe and Raichle brands of wintersport products in the US.

"KDR has incredible brands that bring truly innovative and unique products to the wintersport industry. Kneissl is one of the oldest brands in skiing and is known as the creator of the shaped ski and the skiboard among other innovations. Raichle has an incredible franchise in the US and developed the first thermo formable liners for ski boots. DeeLuxe is well known for its superior fit and on-snow performance. I am very excited with the opportunity to reposition these brands and our companys service levels to exceed our customers expectations," said Mellin.

Mellin has been involved in the wintersport business since 1985 where he started with Spyder Active Sports. After a long period as a sales representative with Marker USA, he joined DNR, the snowboard arm of Marker International. Mellin then spent 3 years with Nordica, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales for North America.
