Burton Snowboards announced today that Eric Gaisser has been promoted to the position of Category Manager for Boots. In his new position, Eric will be responsible for the growth and success of Burton�s rapidly progressing boot business. Eric will work closely with the Boot Product Manager, design engineers, and developers who make up Burton�s exceptional Boot Team. Eric will work with Burton Team riders as well in their continuing effort to push the limits of snowboard boot performance.

For the past year and a half Eric worked as a developer for the Burton Boot Line. In that position he was responsible for overseeing boot and liner development. He spent much of his time all over the world at Burton�s Boot Factories managing all aspects of the factorie�s development and commercialization process. Before joining Burton, Eric spent 3 years developing boots for Ride Snowboards. Previous to that Eric spent three years at Wave Rave in Mammoth, California.

Eric graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut and has been riding for 14 years.
