Storm Trooper RV On Tour

By Press Release

February 20, 2001

Tahoe City, CA - The Storm Trooper RV Tour is in its third season and officially on the road again in search of powder, premier events and the promotion of its sponsors. At the helm of this dream tour is Adam Hostetter and he, with accompanying riders, may soon be traveling to a resort near you.

On the road again.
After competing in the Olympics in 1998, Adam chose to stop racing and start riding more powder. He did so in style by hitting the road in a brand new, 36 ft motorhome, towing his truck and two snowmobiles. Thus the tour was born on a mission for powder along with the concept of sharing the stoke about snowboarding to youth at schools around the west coast, all while promoting sponsors along the way.

For the last two seasons the Storm Trooper partnered with a web company to broadcast travel reports and photos from the road.

This season, the tour is primarily focusing on numerous demo days for sponsors such as Flow Boots and Bindings, Boeri Helmets, Polartec Fabrics, Arcteryx Outerwear and Zeal Optics. The next stops on the road, where retailers can demo the upcoming seasons products, are the WWSRA demo at Sugar Bowl Ca. (Feb. 26-28) and Mammoth Mtn. Ca.(March 1-2).

The Storm Trooper RV is also utilized for promotion for two additional action sports related businesses Adam has partnerships in - Broform.com, a B2B website that hosts pro-forms for employees in the action sports industry, and Red i Productions, a graphic design and promotions company. Be sure to track the Trooper this winter at www.flow.com
