K2 Restructures Customer Service/Warranty Reps

By Press Release

July 3, 2001

K2 Snowboarding has restructured a new team of customer service/warranty reps to concentrate on snowboard support. The new Snowboard C/S & Warranty line is 1-800-225-4119.

This team will be trained extensively on all snowboard products, and they will also be kept up to date on issues such as availability. More knowledge will result in better service and less frustration for the dealers, reps, and consumers. The snowboard customer service and warranty specialists will be:

Laura Carty Team Leader
Kent Smith Key Accounts
Mike Marceau California and Arizona
Matt Baumgarten Northwest, Intermountain and Colorado
Jen Marzka Southeast, Midwest, Texas and Beyond
Chris Baldini Northeast and Mid Atlantic

The current K2 customer service 1-800 number has not changed. Shops that may need help with more than one category can use either number. Also, some dealers have established relationships with their customer service rep and may find it hard to learn the new number.

Dealers can get serviced with any of these numbers. Some of our customers want more technical support, others want one stop shopping, either way we are set up to best serve our dealers. We want to make all our customers happy, - thats the goal, says K2 sales and brand director Luke Edgar.

K2 has always had the highest standard in Customer Service and we will strive to continue that with our new team.
