The children of World Trade Center School PS 89 had their lives turned upside down by the events of September 11th. In the aftermath of what happened the school, which was only four blocks from the WTC, has been closed and many of these children have been displaced from their homes in the area as well. The subways are also closed and there is no auto traffic allowed so the children now have a 20-block walk to a temporary school. To help ease their journey, Clive has donated 180 backpacks to the children of PS89.
