Mervin Manufacturing is pleased to announce that Greg Hughes has joined the team as sales manager. Greg brings 15 years of snowboard business experience to Mervin, spending the last 12 years with Morrow Snowboards. Three of those years were spent as Sales and Brand manager and as a sales representative before that.

"I�ve always loved being involved in this sport at the business level and now to be joining this team, I�m just thrilled." says Hughes. "As a sales manager, there are so many tools here to work with. The brands are authentic, have great technology, great factories full of quality craftspeople who ride. There are also so many quality people working here that love snowboarding. Mervin has all of the pieces that fit together to make a great company." Greg will report to Bill Bussiere, General Manager of Mervin Mfg. and Executive Vice President of Quiksilver, Inc.

Mike Olson had this to say: "Greg is a real smart feller. Rob Morrow really likes him. We really like him. Every time I think of him, I just want to buy a lot of snowboards". Mike Olsen and Pete Saari founded Mervin more than 20 years ago with the concept of making better snowboard equipment and have never looked back. Today, Mervin remains one of the few companies committed to making snowboards here in the United States by US citizen snowboarders.

The focus for Mervin in the future will be to improve all facets of the company with sales and service being one of those vital areas. "One of my goals will be to be very accessible", says Hughes.
