PR: Emery Recalls 1998/99 Adult SIS Bindings

Emery France maker of SIS step-in bindings has announced the recall of 1998/99 adult SIS bindings. Through testing Emery has identified a component in a limited number of bindings, which could cause the SIS mechanism to malfunction in very specific conditions.

Consumers should immediately cease use of the bindings and call 1-800-305-4138 for instructions on how to obtain necessary repairs or replacement of the bindings.

Dealers should immediately halt all sales, rentals, and use of model year 1998/99 Adult Emery SIS bindings. Contact all known customers and advise them of this recall. Dealers should also call 1-800-305-4138 for instructions.

Emery France has developed a quick and simple "fix". Parts will be available shortly, and every effort will be made minimize down time.
