PR: K2 Snowboards Holds Another Summer Step-In Tour

(Press release)—Once again summer camps across Europe will see a familiar sight: the K2 test tent at the bottom of the halfpipe. This tent will be bringing campers professional information and practical help about the K2 Clicker step-in binding system, plus there will be free demos of both boards and the step-in bindings. Through the demos, riders will have a chance to find a perfect set-up for next season, whether they already ride K2 products or not.

One of the newest and hottest Clicker products is the HB (code for High Back) Clicker system, which was voted the sickest Clicker by K2 team riders. Even team members dedicated to riding strap bindings have switched to the new HB System claiming better control in pipe transitions with no loss of tweakability during even the biggest, sickest airs. K2's pros such as Swedish ripper Pontus Stahlkloo, Swiss Pipe Legend Marco Lutz, and 1998 Verbier X-Treme winner Cyril Neary have switched to this system.

K2's newest park and pipe boards such as the Electra, A-Star, Zeppelin, and Pressure will also be available for demo. To make sure the boards ride well on those hot, wet summer days, K2 will be offering free T-Line waxing as well.

Look for K2's top team riders such as Marco Lutz, Marius Sommer, Markus Hurme, Pontus Stahlkloo, Chris Englesman, Martina Tscharner, Tanja Baumgartner at the different camps and demos. Europe's snowboarding magazine Onboard will also be at the demos bringing the band Obdurates along for the ride providing free live music and the unique Onboard ambiance. K2 will also raffle off one snowboard per camp.

Here are some of the upcoming dates for the demos:
July 11-19
James B. Camp, Les Diableretes, Switzerland
July 20-23 Iceripper Camp, Saas Fee, Switzerland
July 24-26 Killercamp, Solden, Austria
July 27-31 S.P.C. Mayrhofen, Austria
Aug 3-9 Kommunity Kamp, Les Deux Alpes, France
