PR: Emery Recalls 1998/99 Adult SIS Bindings

Emery France maker of SIS step-in bindings has announced the recall of 1998/99 adult SIS bindings.
Through testing Emery has identified a component in a limited number of
bindings, which could cause the SIS mechanism to malfunction in very specific
conditions.
Consumers should immediately cease use of the bindings and call
for instructions on how to obtain necessary repairs or
replacement of the bindings.
Dealers should immediately halt all sales, rentals, and use of model
year 1998/99 Adult Emery SIS bindings. Contact all known customers and
advise them of this recall. Dealers should also call for
instructions.
Emery France has developed a quick and simple "fix". Parts will be available shortly,
and every effort will be made minimize down time.
