Up for Grabs!

Once you've learned how to jump, some of the tricks you can do in the air are called grabs.

Listen to the tip.
The first thing you want to think about when doing any grab trick is that you are going to bring the board up to your hands.

Melancholy Grab

Don't bend over and try to reach for the board, you'll just throw yourself off balance.

Here are three types of grabs:

Method air - Take your front arm and grab your heel or toe edge, and bring the board back behind you.

Melancholy air - Take your back hand and grab behind your back binding, and bone out your front foot.

Rocket air - Like the method air, you take your front arm and grab your heel or toe edge. Keep the board in front of you, and bone out your back leg.

Again, the most important thing to remember is to bring the board up to your hand first, and then make the grab.
