What do you get when you combine a washed-up clown and a broken-down chicken? A very sarcastic, yet truthful, glimpse into the world�s fastest-growing winter sport. Come follow the trials and tribulations of Teddy Schuck, "snowboarding�s brightest young star," as he courageously fights his way to the upper legions of the pro circuit�only to be met with the insurmountable challenge of the bottle, and the long, hard fall from grace. Quite an accurate depiction of many "paid-to-be heroes."
The hook of this movie isn�t the clever storyline, though. It�s the mix of riders. Kevin Young and Marc Morisset�two guys who have gone through a couple of sponsors the last few years�landed two of the strongest segments in the film. They�re true rippers who can stick lines, spin, and do it with full style.
Young chargers like Dionne Delesalle and Kale Stephens have strong showings, as do Devun Walsh and Mikey LeBlanc. Marc Frank is up in this piece, yo! Plus the king of dirts, Sean Johnson, has the part of his life.
It�s still the same Whiskey you�ve been waiting for, just revised a bit�aged, if you will. The creators of this film pulled together their years of involvement in the sport and give an all around picture of what being a dedicated snowboarder is all about. I give it two thumbs up the ass. You�ll like it unless you�re a milk-toast choirboy whose mom dresses him.
