Get Married At Loveland

By Press Release

January 17, 2000

DENVER--Jan. 17, 2000--Valentine's Day, one of the most romantic holidays, has become one of the most adventuresome, thanks to the Loveland Ski Area in Colorado. WeddingNetwork.com, one of the most comprehensive online wedding resources, has teamed up with Loveland Ski Resort to make this year's mass wedding ceremony more exciting than ever before.

Valentine's Day 2000 marks the 9th annual mass wedding ceremony at Loveland Ski Resort, where couples can be legally married or renew their vows on the mountain and then swish down the slopes. For the first time in the event's history, WeddingNetwork.com is sponsoring a live Web broadcast of "Lovecast 2000," that will be accessible on Yahoo!(R) Broadcast (http://broadcast.yahoo.com/) on Feb. 14, 2000, at 12:00 p.m. (CST).

WeddingNetwork.com will give away a Loveland Ski package for this event to one lucky couple that registers online through banner advertisements on Yahoo! (http://www.yahoo.com) from Jan. 11-21, 2000. The package includes roundtrip air transportation for two to Denver (provided by Apple Vacations), three days and two nights hotel accommodations (provided by Sheraton Four Points Hotel), two lift tickets to Loveland and rental equipment for Feb. 14, 2000 (courtesy of Loveland Ski Resort). The lucky couple will also receive a $500 wedding gift certificate from WeddingNetwork.com to spend on any item on www.WeddingNetwork.com. Couples can visit Lovecast 2000 banner advertisements running on www.yahoo.com or visit www.WeddingNetwork.com to register and read the official rules.

"Last year more than 120 couples participated in this event," said Stephen Cunningham, CEO of WeddingNetwork.com. "This year the entire world can watch the world's largest snowbound wedding live on the Web."

The mountaintop ceremony will start at 12:00 p.m. (CST) on Monday, Feb. 14, 2000 with a reception immediately following. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, have a Colorado marriage license ready and be able to ski or snowboard down the mountain after the ceremony.
