Mount Snow, Vermont (March 21, 2002) - It may be spring where you are, but at Mount Snow it's a true winter wonderland! In the last 24 hours, Mount Snow received 12-14 inches of fresh powder, bringing our grand total this week to 16-20 inches of new snow! It's definitely the best it's been all season!

The new snow has allowed for a huge trail expansion and for the weekend Mount Snow will have nearly 100% of its terrain open! This latest major snowstorm of the spring season arrived Wednesday morning and continued throughout the day blanketing the resort with more than a foot of fresh snow. Thursday morning skiers and snowboarders were treated to fresh powder on over 500 acres of terrain.

This Saturday, March 23rd, Mount Snow has its annual Snow and Sand Saturday celebration. When guests wear a bathing suit they'll get 50% off a full day lift ticket that day and $10 off their ticket Sunday. Also, skiers in bathing suits only, spotted by our "Beach Patrol" on the slopes, will get a voucher for a free day of skiing thru December 23, 2002 [excluding Thanksgiving week November 28 - December 1].
