Overall impression of the riding: Hokkaido Backcountry rules. Read any article about any pro's fav destinations and Hokkaido stands out. Too much powder. Halfpipes are ok, resorts are pretty boring - they're resorts after all, but the snow is the shit and these people love foreigners.
