Overall impression of the riding: The '96 season in NZ was pretty daam weak all round but there was still fun to be had at Cardrona Ski field (located in deepest darkest otago, on the Sound Island of NZ). While all the other resorts in the surrounding area were starving for some snow (ice gets boring real fast),Cardrona seemed to have that little bit more which made all the difference.Even with no consistent snow there was some powder to be had. Basically it was good times while everywhere else blew...
