Terrain Drain Trip Review

Stratton
Submitted By: Darren Ovitsky

Overall impression of the riding: This past Sunday, I experienced the best East Coast riding of my life at Stratton. It hasn't snowed in over a week and there was fresh powder in the trees as well as a couple droppable cliffs. The jumps were perfect, nice steep landings so you don't hurt yourself. They probably have the best park in the East. They had not one but two huge freshly cut halfpipes and there wasn't even any loose snow on the flatbottoms like there usually is. Stratton tries harder than any other mountain to provide quality terrain for snowboarders. If you want to ride in Vermont, Stratton is your best bet although you will have to bring your wallet ($52 for a lift ticket, $2.70 for a powerade)but everywhere else rips you off too. Stratton is sickter, off the rickter.
