Terrain Drain Trip Review

Alpental
Submitted By: Pat Wright

Overall impression of the riding: The riding at Alpental is definatley world class. Endless inbound runs on a powder day if you know where to find them. Backcountry is a different story. Incredible snow, terrain, scenery. However, VERY DANGEROUS with the right conditions. To all the 16yr old doing reviews: The ski patrol closes the backcountry for a reason: TO SAVE YOUR LIFE. If you go in to the backcountry, BRING THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT. If you don't know what the right equipment is, DON'T GO! If you have the right gear and the gates are open........enjoy. Be ready to do a lot of traversing though. Have fun, be safe.
