Overall impression of the riding: Alyeska is a great mountain. not only does it have some great steeps and deeps, also the surrounding backcountry is easily accessible (tin can, juniors, max's, winter creek, etc..) Although the mountain is sometimes over run by those who have no respect for it, usually most of the riders you'll encounter are chill. I thought i might mention the local aspect of girdweed because of the tightness of the community. Everybody who lives there either knows everybody else or is only be seperated by two degrees. So overall the whole scene in the Alyeska region is one hot mothafucka.
