Terrain Drain Trip Review

SIERRA-AT-TAHOE
Submitted By: RYAN PHILLIPS

Overall impression of the riding: Sierra is a kick-ass, freestyle-loving, snowboard-friendly resort. Ask any lifty to ditch work for and hour and give you a tour of the best this resort has to offer, and they probably will (it'll cost you a sixer though). That's how friendly the staff is. This resort offers a little of something for everybody, and the expert terrain is usually not tracked out right away like some of the other larger resorts. Hidden stashes, great tree runs, jibs, and excellent parks are what Sierra is all about. Definately plan a day at Sierra and get up there early... Locals know the best spots and won't give you the chance to hit the freshies if they have anything to do with it.... including myself!
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 3

Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: I shouldn't tell... (jack's bowl)
Best Lift: Grandview
Local Shop: Rippin Willy's
Restaurant: Izzy's (best burger); The Cantina (best mex)
Hangout: Nero's (Mon night only); Mulligan's; or Greenstone
Place To Stay: Rent a cabin somewhere out of town
