Terrain Drain Trip Review

Mt. Rose
Submitted By: David Casey

Overall impression of the riding: A carving mountain, often windpacked, can get icy. When the sun is out the backside softens up nicely. Wide groomed runs. Carve wide turns down the hill, across the hill, and back up the hill. Go all the way around and complete the 360. On weekdays the place is so empty it's downright lonely. A bit on the small side compared to other resorts out west, but your legs will no doubt burn when you reach the bottom. Few tourists, lots of Reno locals. Check your brakes before leaving the parking lot.
