Terrain Drain Trip Review

Taos Valley, NM
Submitted By: Jason Alexander

Overall impression of the riding: Taos doesn't allow boarding. It is however the greatest terrain on the planet. It's extremely difficult though. I've been riding for 8 years, and was very good. But at Taos I broke my neck, and am now paralized, waist down. I now know why snowboarding isn't allowed.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 5
Lift Service: 1
Mountain Personnel: 5
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 1
Halfpipe: 1
Snowboard Park: 1
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: Hike to summit, southern face is incredible
Best Lift: must hike, don't get caught
Local Shop: don't know
Restaurant: don't know
Hangout: at summit (savor it , you only get one chance)
Place To Stay: Super Econo-Lodge($9.00 a night!!!)
