Terrain Drain Trip Review

Blue Knob, PA
Submitted By: Ben Brannon

Overall impression of the riding: The lifts are slow and old, the lodge sucks, getting there is rough, but they have some of the steepest and funnest terrain in the state. Over 1000' of vertical makes for pretty long runs. Skip weekends at Seven Springs and drive the hour to Blue Knob, it's worth it.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 4
Lift Service: 3
Mountain Personnel: 4
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 4
Halfpipe: 2
Snowboard Park: 2
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: Bump runs and drops from cat tracks.
Best Lift: None - Mostly Doubles (thumbs up for foot rests)
Local Shop: None Close By
Restaurant: Pack a Lunch - the lodge food sucks
Hangout: Your Motel Room - BYOB
Place To Stay: Motels near PA Turnpike
