Terrain Drain Trip Review

Park City
Submitted By: Chris Lamothe

Overall impression of the riding: I spent a whole season living and working on Park City, and it is the bomb. For secret stashes in the glades, to huge cornices atop Jupiter Peak, Park City has it all. (Except for a competent snowboard park/halfpipe). But for natural terrain, it should not be over-looked. I will admit, there are many flats, but the areas not marked on the trail maps are the best (as always). Try going about halfway down the Jupiter Access Trail and bang a right. It's always a sure hit for locals, and now maybe for the rest of the world. It's called Moosehead, so ask a local if you can't find it.
Rank on a scale of 1 - 5 (Five being best, one being suckiest)
Overall Terrain: 4
Lift Service: 5
Mountain Personnel: 4
Attitude Towards Snowboarders: 5
Halfpipe: 1
Snowboard Park: 2
Recommendations for future visitors:
Secret Stash: Moosehead
Best Lift: Thanes
Local Shop: Go Big
Restaurant: Burgie's
Hangout: The Treehouse (ask a local)
Place To Stay: A sleeping bag
